Pan de muerto It is a sweetened soft bread shaped like a bun, often decorated with bone-shaped phalange pieces. Pan de muerto is eaten on Día de Muertos, at the gravesite or alternatively, at a tribute called an ofrenda. In some regions, it is eaten for months before the official celebration of Dia de Muertos. Wikipedia The week before Dia de Muertos I hunt for pan de muerto. I start my search in Mexican bakeries and grocery stores. I found some at Northgate Market.

Got October’s box just a few days ago. The mail is still a bit slow I’d say. Anyway this month’s box was a bit bigger than usual. At first I thought it was because the original box got damaged in transit. Apparently one of the new toys was kinda big.

My daughter introduced me to her favorite drink when she was in high school. I’ll admit at first I was a bit wary of the boba. After all I’ve never had food at the bottom of my drink before. On my first sip I was hooked and wanted to try more flavors.

There was another bbq joint named Sonny’s BBQ here back in 2014. They had some great bbq and fried food.

Honda HR-V Year 2
So far our 2019 Honda HR-V Sport has been rock solid. The only bug I’ve had is with the Apple Carplay and that was solved by restoring the system as outlined in HR-V Year 1 review. Gas mileage is not bad at 30mpg.

Springs preserve really holds many destinations within itself. On my second visit last October 2019 I had to see the recreated town that depicts Las Vegas from 1905 to 1920.
