So Cal Famous Beach Ice
Poway has a very good variety of places to eat. I remember driving out here on weekends when I was in high school as Poway was like a Sunday in the countryside. Now there is tons of traffic and there are long waits to get out of the parking lot as the cars keep coming till there is a red light.

Scoops
I have been to this little plaza before. I visited Howlin’ Rays and had the best chicken and waffles ever. I have not returned as it has an hour or more wait for food. Now I’m here for ice cream. Scoops didn’t have a line when I visited around 4pm on Saturday.

Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream – Palm Springs
I remember my first visit to Lappert’s in Lahaina. It was hot and we tried to cool off sheltering under the shade of the old banyon tree. It helped. I noticed there was a Lappert’s Ice cream shop nearby. The cold ice cream brough a smile to everyone’s face.

Milkissimo Gelato
Cold. Creamy. Rich, sweet vanilla flavor filled my mouth. Wow! The vanilla gelato at Milkissimo Gelato is among the best I’ve had.
