Elite Event: Pacific Standard Coastal Kitchen
Food. Most of the time it just magically appears. I rarely get to see how it’s prepared. I rarely get to meet the chef. This night I met a Top Chef. Giselle Wellman who appeared on Top Chef Season 13 prepared the food and served us. She was very warm and genuine talking with us and made herself available for photos after speeches and the giveaway. Upon reflection I’d have to say she is the nicest chef I’ve met.

I must confess I have a weakness for swag. It all started in grade school when the teachers started giving out swag for being good, getting to class on time, holidays, and doing well on tests. While the gold stars were nice candy was what I wanted the most.

Bo Beau Kitchen and Coin Haus
This is my very first time going to Bo Beau and Coin Haus, so needless to say I was eagerly awaiting this Yelp event! Arrived a bit early and got to peer inside while we waited.

BO-beau Kitchen + Garden & Coin Haus – Yelp Elite Event
Watch the silver ball. Use the left and right flippers to keep it from going down the center. Must be night outside as the flashing lights of the machine are blinding in the gloom. I have to concentrate. Ball moves incredibly fast at times. Faster than I can see. I press the button for the flippers when I have a feeling the ball is on approach. Kind yelp friends come by on their way out and give me their wrist bands so I can play on till my wrists give out. Thanks Rene and Lauren! Yelp Elite Event: Taste Of Liberty Station
Liberty Station. Place was a Marine base most of my life. I never gave it much thought. I never gave it much thought after it was redeveloped and turned into shops and houses. I was excited to visit when I got the email there was going to be a Taste of Liberty Station yelp event. Liberty Public Market sounded like The Ferry Building in San Francisco which I love.
