Big Al’s Burgers at The Junction

I love going on road trips.  You never know what interesting places you will come across.  I found Big Al’s Burgers at The Junction on the way to Monument Valley from Zion.  They don’t have any classic burger joints like this where I live.

I tried the buffalo burger with lettuce, tomato, and bacon.  The lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp.  Buffalo had a texture like a beef patty.  Flavor was a bit more gamey.  Pretty good burger.  Perfect for a small lunch.  I’d add an extra patty if I was very hungry.

The water filtration wasn’t working on the ice machine.  It had that tap water flavor you get when they put in chemicals to kill the bad stuff.

Prices were good and staff friendly.  Next time I think I’ll go for a regular burger, shake, and onion rings.

    1. It’s a refreshing change from the Skydeck where they are charging $25 for a gourmet burger.
