Scent intoxicates me. Golden skin is so beautiful. Red dust contrasts the bright gold. Flesh is tender and juicy while the batter is crunchy and full of delicious flavor. Loved how the bbq dust gave a bit of sweetness and bbq flavor to the fried chicken flavor.

Precise Garage Doors Services
I was looking forward to tacos for lunch and pressed to button to open the garage door. Horrible noise was coming from the garage door opener and the garage door was not opening. It appeared the garage door opener had broken so I went on Yelp to search for companies to fix the problem. After messaging a job request to 3 companies Precise Garage Doors Services was the first to respond so I gave them my address and a technician arrived in an hour.

Wailua Shave Ice – Ocean Beach
Bright orange peeked through dark clouds as the sun set on Kauai. I remember the delicious flavors of the Wailua Sunrise I ordered at Wailua Shave Ice. So many magical moments.

Harbor Town Pub
When I was a small boy my brother and mom drove past this area to fish at Shelter Island. I remember the sea and sun while we waited for a nibble on the line. On lucky days we would catch enough smelt to fill a small bucket. Fresh smelt marinated in ginger and soy sauce pan fried till the skin was crispy made for a delicious dinner. Bummer Harbor Town Pub wasn’t around for those days we were unlucky.

Plaza Bonita – Tusayan, AZ
We spent the day enjoying the lovely sights of the Grand Canyon and left as the day was ending. It was time for dinner and Maggie’s son Sam suggested a nearby Mexican food spot. Just outside of the Grand Canyon is the small town of Tusayan which had multiple eateries. Plaza Bonita was one of them.

Chester’s Chicken – Quartzsite, AZ
I was admiring the cactus and sand dunes as we were driving through Arizona towards the Grand Canyon. Amazing how big cactus could get in the dry desert. There were small towns and rest stops that broke up the desert landscape. I was excited to see a Chester’s Fried Chicken sign. I’m a huge fan of fried chicken and never seen a Chester’s.
