Okay so if your from out of town like me, then it’s good to know this aquarium is located within the Arizona Mills mall. My car GPS decided to take me to the far side of the mall resulting in us walking farther than anticipated to the entrance of this aquarium.

Anyway, once we arrived I showed the nice girl at the counter my previously purchased tickets online. On their website all you need to do is pick the day and time you wish to visit. When we visited in July 2022, they were still doing timed entry. I appreciated this as it opens up the viewing areas instead of being filled with people you need to look over or around just to view the fish. Plus if you have little ones to look after (two grandkids) then this allows for greater roaming freedom, yay!

Hands down the favorite exhibit for both grandkids, the desert tortoise, Mojave and Sonora. The largest one really seemed to like humans and walked towards them for petting.

Afterwards we had lunch (in the mall) then returned to the gift shop to see what we could not live without!

Overall a very fun day.

Receiving instructions on how to touch the sea life.
