BFF Burgers, Fish and Fries
I went on an adventure trying to find a new lunch spot. I found this place on Yelp as Janna’s Burgers, Fish, and Fries and the map took me to the Aztec Food Hub. Using the street address I was taken to Grossmont Center. The signage indicates this place is called BFF Burgers, Fish and Fries.

Eat Crispy Burger – UTC
The Eat Crispy Burger empire is growing. I started eating at Eat Crispy Burger back in 2022 when the first location opened in Encinitas. The delicious burgers and the warm family atmosphere was a winning combination. I was happy to see the 4th location is within biking distance and there is bike parking in the parking lot.

Burger Lounge Pacific Highlands
Back in the early days of Burger Lounge they had an exotic burger every few months. I loved visiting and trying each one. My favorite was their wild boar burger.

Red Caboose Cafe
Maggie loves cafes so I found Red Caboose Cafe to try after a day exploring Kings Canyon National Park. It was hot outside but inside the AC was working well. I was really impressed by the decor.

The owner D. was running the front, was very welcoming, and provided excellent service.

Big Jim’s Roast Beef
There are always restaurants opening and closing in Pacific Beach. Big Jim’s Roast Beef seems to be the most interesting new restaurant so I gave them a try.
