Now grown up I was getting my fix of Belgium chocolate at Godiva. I joined the Rewards Club with a $20 purchase and get a free piece once a month for a year. I looked forward to walking over to Godiva for my free piece each month.
Mint chocolate chip truffle. Mmm… the flavor is much like and Andes mint but better. This is one of my fav truffles. 🙂
Pumpkin truffle. Milk chocolate with pumpkin flavor. Very tasty and only available in October and November. If you like pumpkin pie you will like this truffle.
Tiramisu truffle. Milk chocolate with other flavors. Very good.
Strawberry truffle. Rich dark chocolate and strawberry flavor. Very good.
Raspberry star. Delicious combination of white chocolate and raspberry. Awesome.
Sadly the apocalypse has claimed another victim. Godiva has closed all their retail locations. Hope they make enough money from their grocery store and online sales to stay in business. I will miss friendly workers that helped me pick out my monthly piece of chocolate.
I will miss the young lady with the glasses that always had a smile for me.

That’s sad about the retail locations closing. Hopefully they had jobs lined up for their employee’s.
It’s more likely they are collecting unemployment.
More casualties of Covid-19. It’s quite sad overall.
