The Kluckin Chicken
There are so many fried chicken places opening up I can’t keep up.
Driving through Pacific Beach I noticed The Kluckin Chicken had opened so I stopped in.
Chicken wings were prepped in a plastic bucket. After ordering it took about 5 minutes to fry. Service was very speedy.
Wings were very small and the 12 piece is about lunch sized. Chicken was tender and well marinated. Flavor was like very mild hot sauce. Not a flavor I like. I prefer the salt and pepper style wings you find at places like Golden Chopsticks.

Wonder what’s in their marinade. You’d think each level of heat would taste different. Maybe they will offer choices of flavors going forward.
