777 Noodle House

The first time I visited 777 Noodle House the menu was full of items priced at $7.77.  Sadly inflation has hit and prices are now around $13.

Bbq pork chow mein isn’t on the menu but they will make it for you.  I love the blend of flavors from the green onions, egg noodles, bbq pork, and the smokiness imparted from the wok.

Won ton noodle soup had egg noodles and bbq pork.  Egg noodles had a nice mild flavor.  Bbq pork was tender and I liked the 5 spice powder based flavor.  Won tons were a mix of pork, shrimp, and mushrooms.  I would prefer no mushrooms and more shrimp like Sam Woo won tons.

They no longer have ice water.  Bottled water is $1.  Water was cold and refreshing.  Service was speedy and I love the dishes that are cooked in a wok here.

    1. The cook has skills making all those dishes!

  2. I enjoy the Hieu Tieu Nam Vang Kho here Soo. Also, the folks working are always so nice.

    1. Yes they are nice. Thanks for writing about this spot!

  3. Looks and sounds delicious. If you can make 2-3 meals out of it usually I don’t mind the up charge. But yes everything is more expensive and that’s likely here to stay. 😢

    1. Looks like the Costco food court is the only place you can avoid inflation. Next time I’m in that long gas line I should reward myself with a hot dog and soda.
