Rigoberto’s Taco Shop

Back in the old days this was a mattress store.

Logo looks alot like Roberto’s.

I visited this taco shop years ago when it was a Roberto’s.  Now I see they are called Rigoberto’s.

Beef taco had a crunchy shell and a generous amount of shredded beef inside.  Loved the combination of flavors from the crunchy corn tortilla and the mild flavored beef.

Carnitas taco came with 2 soft corn tortillas.  Carnitas tasted like it was marinated in a salt brine a bit like Costco chickens.  I enjoyed the flavor which  went nicely with the mild corn flavor of the tortillas.

2nd visit.  Adobada taco was stuffed to overflowing with tender juicy pork.  Lots of flavor without the bitter taste many places add to their adobada.  Very good  taco.  Carne asada taco was overflowing with well marinated and tender beef.  Loved the flavor which had a touch of sweetness.

Rigoberto’s is my fav taco shop in this area.  Service was very speedy and they were doing well with takeout even though the dining area was partially open.  So far I loved the beef taco, carnitas taco, and the carne asada taco.  They give you generous amounts of meat and 2 tacos make for a good size meal.  I am looking forward to trying more of their tacos next time.
