I’m a big fan of adobada tacos that have a mix of sweet and savory flavor like those found at Tacos El Gordo. I was excited to try the adobada tacos at Tacos La Chorreada.
Tortillas had a nice mild corn based flavor. Adobada was tender and had a mild ancho chile flavor which gave a bit of a bitter flavor I didn’t like. I wouldn’t get the adobada taco again.
Carnitas taco featured tender pork with a nice mild flavor. Pretty good.
Carne asada taco featured tender beef which had a tasty beefy flavor with a hint of sweetness. My favorite taco here.
3 tacos make for a good size lunch. If I was starving 4 carne asada tacos would fill me up.
Staff was nice and got my order out quick. There was a big picnic table and spots at the counter to eat.

These look tasty and filled to the brim. Too bad the adobada was bitter but there’s always Tacos El Gordo for adobada greatness!
If only I lived closer to Tacos El Gordo… This is a good place to get carne asada tacos.
