LouZiana Food

I started going to LouZiana Food in the early days.

Pam was always here with a smile and full of southern hospitality.
I saw Pam again and I ordered my favorite dish.
The shrimp and catfish platter.  Crinkle cut fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.  Delicious potato flavor was enhanced by their secret seasoning.  Catfish was cut into small pieces and coated in a southern style seasoned cornmeal batter which was crispy on the outside with tender catfish beneath.  Loved the flavor of the fresh catfish.  Shrimp was plump and seasoned just like the catfish.  Great tasting meal and a huge amount of food.  I had some fish to take home.
I’m going to miss the delicious fried catfish and shrimp.  The fresh made beignets as well though I rarely had room for them.  I will miss the southern hospitality.  They are closing August 21 2022.

Goodbye old friends.

I am going to look at the stars. They are so far away and their light takes so long to reach us. All we ever see of stars are their old photographs.

  3. That’s too bad, a lot of closures are unfortunate but longtime mom and pop places are hard to say goodbye to. Glad you got one last visit!

    1. There is still time. I’m gonna try and get some beignets. 🙂

  4. I finally visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago, only to see that sign on the door. I wish the best for the owners.
