Valentine’s Day 2022 @ Costco
On February 7 2022 I visited Costco to see what cool Valentine’s Day treats are available. At the front I found a small display of chocolate covered strawberries. Sadly only dark chocolate was available today. Milk chocolate is my favorite flavor.
Strawberries were fresh and juicy. The sweet flavor nicely balanced the bitterness from the dark chocolate. Overall good tasting chocolate covered strawberries.
Nearby was a display of flowers.
In the deli area I found chocolate mascarpone truffles and heart shaped macarons.
I miss the old days when ladies would have an enclosed area where you could watch them hand dip strawberries in chocolate. They also had a choice of milk, dark, and white chocolate.

Ohhhh thank you for posting this! The chocolate covered berries are amazing at Costco and I’m not sure who can beat their price/quality? What about the strawberry farm you like? do they offer chocolate covered too?

You are welcome! It’s a few more months before the strawberry field I like is in season. I have never seen them with chocolate covered strawberries.
I have seen chocolate covered strawberries at supermarkets but I don’t know what the quality is like.

So sad that the ladies are not still back this year, hopefully it is just out of an abundance of caution and they’ll be back in the future.
