Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger

I love ice cream so I was interested in trying frozen custard.  Since frozen custard is in the name I figured Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger would have the good stuff.

I ordered the combo for $9.99.  Shoestring fries were the thinnest I’ve seen in a fast food spot.  Crispy with a nice flavor.  Not much of a fluffy center.

Double bacon burger came with crispy bacon which had a nice salty flavor.  Beef patties were the thinnest I’ve had.  Nice char.  Good if you like your burger well done.  I liked the flavor of the beef which tasted like it was seasoned with just the right amount of salt.

Frozen custard is $7.99 a quart and I picked up a quart of vanilla.
Thick, rich, and creamy.  I loved the sweet vanilla flavor.

I’ll definitely be back for more frozen custard.  The steakburger I’m not sure about.

I like to take photos of beautiful things like rain falling into puddles. Photos were mostly taken on a Fuji XE-2. Starting 9.9.2016 most photos are taken on a Fuji XT-2. Subsequent photos were taken with an Iphone 13 Pro and an Iphone 15 Pro Max.

  1. You definitely need to visit Milwaukee sometime – Kopp’s, Leon’s, etc. are a custard mecca. I actually think the burgers at this place are the better part (although the patty on yours looks a little overcooked on this visit).
