Smokey and the Brisket

I liked visiting this area when I was younger.  Lake Murray was a place for me to relax and feed the ducks.  It was quiet and peaceful, a reflection of this area.

Now there is a new bbq joint to try.

Smokey and the Brisket has a cool car theme going on.

Dino beef rib was the biggest beef rib I’ve eaten and the most expensive at $26.  The rib made for a big lunch.  Lovely aroma from being smoked in applewood and oak.  Beef was tender and juicy while the dry rub added delicious flavor.  I loved the mix of smoky and peppery flavor.  One of the best tasting ribs I’ve had.

Smoked chicken wings had a delicious smoky flavor.  Nice tender chicken.

Beef brisket was a big lunch for me.  Tender, moist, full of delicious flavor from the bark formed over the thin layer of fat.  Bark was from the peppery dry rub I had on the beef rib.  Beef brisket is among the best I’ve found.

Rack of pork ribs was huge.  Enough for 3 meals.  Pork was fall off the bone tender and juicy.  Love the flavor from smoking and the dry rub added a sweet component.

Customer service here was excellent.  Employees were nice and when I had a problem with my order they made it right.

Meats reheated on the grill.

My only complaint is they keep sneaking a pickle and red stuff into my order.  I’ve asked for no pickle and red stuff but it shows up with my meat.  The dog is happy as I give him the meat that has that nasty pickle juice on it.  I miss eating at restaurants so I can take care of problems right away.
