Solvang Bakery

The sun was rising over Solvang as I took a walk down the empty streets.  I wandered into Solvang Bakery and there were so many choices.

It was a few minutes after they opened and treats were still on baking racks.

Bear claw has a crispy outside and creamy inside with melt in your mouth goodness.

Shell has light buttery flavor while the filling adds creamy sweetness.  Amazing how it was so fresh, crunchy, and soft with delicious flavor.

Apple cinnamon danish was a cross between a cinnamon roll and an apple danish.  Outside was crunchy while the inside was soft.  Delicious blend of flavors from the cinnamon roll, sweet icing, & the apple filling.

Danish butter cookies were crunchy and full of delicious butter flavor.  There was an assortment of cookies just like in the tins at grocery stores.  My mom would buy them each year as Christmas presents.  Those cookies were good but the flavor of the fresh Solvang Bakery cookies is amazing.

Cinnamon crunchy was crunchy and had a mix of pastry with hints of cinnamon, and sugar crystal flavors.  Loved how sweetness enhanced but didn’t hide the pastry flavor.

This was my first visit to a Danish bakery and the treats were all delicious.

The early bird gets the freshest bear claws!
