This part of town holds many memories for me.  When I was a kid my mom took me across the street to visit her friend who lived in an apartment overlooking Park Blvd.  That’s how I found out about Comic Kingdom which was a few blocks away.  I biked over from North Park when I needed a comic fix.  Comic Kingdom closed in the 70’s and On Comic Ground opened in its place.  On Comic Ground closed in 2018.  Across the street was one of my favorite Chinese restaurants.  Further up Park Blvd was one of my favorite eateries Gulf Coast Grill.  I still miss their fried chicken and bbq…
