What to start out with, hmmm….The tortilla’s and chips are always fresh and flavorful. There is a mini serve yourself salsa bar, complete with small cups and lids. Upon entering the line is to the right, you order, they take your name and when your name is called you have to come back up to the counter to retrieve your meal. Drinks are also self serve and they have a variety of Mexican favorites. The horchata is really good.

“To absent friends, lost loves, old gods, and the season of mists; and may each and every one of us always give the devil his due.” Neil Gaiman – The Sandman Wish I had been here in the beginning to see the freshly painted ladies on the wall. Would have been nice to see the rumored PSA stewardesses in their prime. Still they have aged well in the dim light there is still a sparkle in their eyes and their bosoms perky. The stories they could have told about the mile high club…

Green Dragon Tavern and Museum 6115 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92011 (760) 918-2421
There is something about brick buildings that I just adore. Maybe it’s the architecture, symmetry or the lovely brick red color, it makes a statement loud and clear. Here I am! Come on inside! This place appealed to me right from the start. A genuine replica of Boston’s original Green Dragon Tavern, demolished in 1854. Silly people, didn’t they know what they were tearing down?

[points to the horizon] Max Rockatansky: But I guarantee you that a hundred and sixty days ride that way… there’s nothing but salt. [points back] Max Rockatansky: At least that way we might be able to… together… come across some kind of redemption. Mad Max: Fury Road

We walked into the restaurant to ask a few questions because the signage is a bit confusing. More on signage later. The lady behind the counter informed us; this is a Thai restaurant, not Chinese. Well okay already. It was empty inside so we had our pick of tables. Woo hoo.

Bike bell rings recede Dusty plastic plants & fortunes Days past photographs. This little shopping center hasn’t changed much since my kid was riding her first bike nearby and looked forward to our visits to Sprouts to get a free balloon. There use to be a Chinese restaurant which wasn’t that good. It was one and done for us.

Entrada Little Italy 1953 India St. San Diego, CA 92101
Walking up to Entrada Little Italy, we found our friend Chris taking pictures especially for this event. After chatting a bit we walked inside. The lovely Tiffany was wearing a beautiful black sequin dress and greeted us. Rock music filled my ears to the tune of Carlos Santana, awesome! First portion written by Maggie
