Ben & Jerry’s – Seaport Village
One of the things I looked forward to every year was free ice cream day at Ben & Jerry’s. I walked across the street for delicious ice cream. Sadly the UTC location closed and the Seaport Village shop is the last one in town. My visits now are few and far between.
I like how Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops have unique flavors you can’t get at the grocery store. I had a sample of the lemonade sorbet and it tasted just like lemonade.
I picked up a pint of strawberry marshmallow. Really bold strawberry flavor with some marshmallow pieces adding sweet marshmallow flavor. love the unique tasting ice cream. Also pricey at $14/pint. I wouldn’t buy any flavors available at the grocery store as those pints are only $4 on sale.
They are always coming out with different flavors so each time I visit it is a new adventure. Staff was friendly and helpful offering samples.

I like to take photos of beautiful things like rain falling into puddles. Photos were mostly taken on a Fuji XE-2. Starting 9.9.2016 most photos are taken on a Fuji XT-2. Subsequent photos were taken with an Iphone 13 Pro and an Iphone 15 Pro Max.

Ah Ben and Jerry’s, an oldie but a goodie. When I was younger a friend and I would drive to all the locations in town for free cone day lol. I didn’t realize there was still one of these around. Now the ultra luxe spots get all the publicity but classic never goes out of style!

The good old days when you drive anywhere and not worry about refilling the gas tank. I’m too far away to take advantage of free ice cream day. 🙁
