Mama Toledo’s Pie Hole

I’ve been going on road trips to Arizona for winter vacation.  On the last trip I was hoping to try a peach pie at Mama Toledo’s.  The website indicated I should order online but online ordering was down when I tried to order.  I emailed my request and was told to call in the morning to reserve a pie.  I called a few times but nobody picked up the phone.  I visited in the afternoon and they had run out of peach pies.  Instead I tried a few other pies.

Banana cream pie had a crunchy flaky crust.  Loved the mix of flavors from the bananas, buttery crust, and whipped cream.  Among the best banana cream pies I’ve had.

I visited Mama Toledo’s in 2019 and enjoyed her apple pie so it’s likely the peach pie is good.  Maybe I’ll get one on my next road trip.
