Inside it’s bright and it looks like everybody is getting the lunch special  Been a long time since I had a $5.99 lunch special.

Panda Express had prices like this but I stopped going when they stopped serving my favorite dish bbq pork.

I was hoping for bbq pork when I ordered the pork lo mein with fried rice and spring roll.  I was excited to see thin strips of bbq pork with the lo mein.  Mild flavor from the wheat based noodles, cabbage, and sauce.  Bbq pork was tender and had delicious 5 star powder based flavor.  Fried rice was fried with just soy sauce and quite plain.  Spring roll is not something I normally eat but no substitutions allowed with the lunch special.  Spring roll had a delicious crunchy fried won ton wrapper.  Inside were just veggies.  I liked the cabbage and carrots while I didn’t like a flavor that tasted like onions.

Fried won ton strips were crunchy and full of delicious fried flavor.

 

Potsticks had a crunchy shell and a nicely seasoned chicken filling.
