Secret Sister

Secret Sister has an amazing selection of sourdough.  The baked goods are based on a 150 year old sourdough starter.  I first tasted their sourdough while dining at Mabel’s Gone Fishing.

Sourdough baguette has a crunchy crust and full of sourdough flavor.  Loved it.

Cookies had an interesting texture.  Not crunchy and not soft and gooey.  Rather kind of in-between.  I liked the flavor.

Slicing my loaf.

Sourdough country loaf had a crunchy crust and soft and fluffy insides.  Loved the sourdough flavor.  Usually French bread is my favorite but I love the sourdough flavor here as it has some sourdough flavor but not too much sour flavor.

Customer service was excellent.  Staff was friendly and sliced my country loaf for me.  Kirk from mmm-yoso!!! has visited too.

  1. Sounds wonderful!

    1. The sourdough was awesome!

  2. Thanks for the link Soo. I drop by just about every week for the sourdough. It’s our current favorite.

    1. You are welcome! That’s great you support them every week. I visit when I’m in the area.

  3. Looks so good — I’d buy all of this if I could eat it in a timely manner! I’ve finally learned to freeze bread but it takes me months to finish a loaf. I’ll have to start small with a brioche or a bagel that I can finish in one sitting!

    1. I shared the loaf. The baguette I ate all on my own. 🙂
