Casa Guadalajara

4105 Taylor Street. Old Town. San Diego, California 92110

Went here for one of our regular (G,M) lunch outings.

Pollo en Mole Pippin de Pepita Verde. Served with warm tortillas.

Walking to our seats I anticipated a wonderful lunch and was not disappointed! They were super busy so we perched ourselves at the bar (no waiting) and ordered from there.

My order was the Pollo en Mole Pippin de Pepita Verde dish and a margarita of course. Just an excellent dish overall. The chicken was moist and tender, paired with the pumpkin seed mole sauce made it over the top delicious. The rice, beans and slaw tasted amazing all by themselves. However it was fun to mix up my bites.

Our bartender was wonderful and very attentive. As always this place is festively decorated with a warm atmosphere. An excellent place for lunch!
