Nipomo/SantaMaria Airbnb house

First stop on our way to the San Francisco area.

Front room dining table

Stayed here two nights and enjoyed the local restaurants, adjacent town of Guadalupe and the scenic Highway 1.

This place is artistically decorated while exuding a certain domestic charm. Plenty of space including many places to sit and enjoy a meal or movie, morning cup of coffee or just chat.

The chickens roam out back and one decided to come over for a quick pet while I was sitting on the step. The breeze at night felt nice, as it was warm during the August day. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. I enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker.

The bed was comfortable and I slept fairly well. Just wish it had more pillows and perhaps a softer or rather thicker mattress.

We had a place to park in the driveway. Plenty of outside lighting. The yard is nicely landscaped. It includes many trees, small garden and flowers. We had our pick of fresh eggs and avocado’s.

It was hard to leave as this place is so peaceful, warm and welcoming. Felt like home.

  1. That’s great you made some new friends during our stay! Cute house. Next time I’ll have to try the eggs.

  2. Yes, she let me give her a pet. Can’t beat freshly laid eggs. I grew up on them.
