Pacific Beach Fish Shop

Fresh fish 11am.
The Pacific Beach Fish Shop is the next step up from Fish Grill.  The fish is fresh here and more expensive fish is available.
Fries were crispy and had a tasty fried potato flavor.  Halibut was tender and not dry.  I ordered it with the fish shop seasoning which had a little bit of cajun spicyness and a little bit of brown sugar sweetness.  Very tasty dish.
Onion rings had a crunchy batter and a delicious fried onion flavor.

2nd visit I tried the halibut fish and chips.  Tempura batter was crispy with a light fried flavor.  Halibut was tender with very light flavor.  Pretty good but Point Loma Seafood does a better job on this dish.

Staff was friendly and it took about 15 minutes for my order to be cooked.  Pacific Beach Fish Shop is very good but Point Loma Seafood is my fav spot to get fish.
