Craft House Sky Deck

This is my first time at Craft House and I decided to try the $23 burger.  This will be the most expensive burger I’ve eaten.  The other thing that interested me was the $34 steak and fries.  I was scared off by the price as my fav steak and fry place only charges $14 and I didn’t think the steak and fries here would be 3 times as good.

Bun was soft and had a mild buttery flavor.  Butter lettuce was fresh, crispy, and had a nice flavor.  Tomato was full of juice and had a light tart flavor.  Bacon was crispy and had a light savory flavor.
Beef was tender and juicy with a bold beefy flavor.  This burger was made with really high quality ingredients and cooked perfectly.  Overall a very good burger.
Sweet potato fries had a soft center and were full of sweet potato flavor.
I prefer the $15 bacon hamburger at Hodad’s or the $18 wagyu burger at The Butchery.  The bacon and the beef taste better to me.
I’m reminded of this one time I was in a photography class given by Phel Steinmetz.  He showed a bunch of photographs he had taken with an inexpensive Polaroid camera.  Next week we were to show our own photos taken with either a borrowed Polaroid or our own cameras.  There were some good photos the next week but the consensus was Phel’s Polaroids were the best.
So the most expensive burger is not the best burger for me.  Server was nice and kept me supplied with complimentary and quite refreshing soda water with a slice of lemon.
