Pacific Beach Ice Cream

As I was pondering which flavors to get the owner asked me how long I had been an ice cream fan.

Me:  When I was 6 we visited my aunt in San Francisco and she asked me what I wanted for dessert.  I asked for a popsicle.
Aunt:  Ice cream is better.
Me:  Ok I’ll try it.
Me.  Ice cream is better.
Rose was rich, creamy, and bursting with rose flavor.  Among the best rose flavored ice cream’s I’ve found.
Violet was rich, creamy and had a delicious flavor.  I always thought of violet as a color but the flavor is just as lovely.
Root beer was rich, creamy, and tasted like a root beer float.  Another great tasting flavor here.  Only place in town I’ve found that regularly has root beer ice cream.

Pacific Beach Ice Cream has delicious classic flavors.  I look forward to returning and trying more.  I found out owner Dave Wright learned how to make ice cream at his parent’s shop Treats in Nevada City, California.  Very nice guy and very informative.

  2. Very cool, I’ve never heard of this place. Looks like a tiny operation like Niederfrank’s making small-batch flavors on-site.
