Elite Week: Shawarma Guys
Drove through north park to visit Shawarma Guys for Yelp Elite week. Looked like some of the cute houses have been replaced by condos and apartments. I miss the old days when it was mostly just cute houses.
Pulling into the parking lot it looks like the dining choices are eat in the car or take it home. 2 nice young ladies were taking orders.
I tried the beef shawarma pita. Loved the mild flavor of the pita. Wagyu beef was tender, juicy, and had a delicious flavor. Lettuce and tomato were fresh, crisp and juicy. This is my favorite shawarma in town.
I generally prefer to dine in as sometimes I’m a messy eater. Eating in my HR-V I discovered the paper based wrapper my shawarma pita came in isn’t waterproof. As the beef was quite juicy I noticed my shorts were wet from juices dripping from my pita. I hope the apocalypse ends soon or I’m gonna have to keep trash bags in the HR-V for when I eat in the car to keep my shorts dry.
