Gelato Paradiso – Coronado

Gelato Paradiso invited us through Yelp for a cone of gelato in Coronado.  I went on Tuesday evening and loved the quiet vibe of this beach town.

I picked a cone with 2 flavors.   Waffle cone had a fresh baked aroma and subtle sweetness.  I also enjoyed the crunchy texture.

Italian Cherry was unusual.  When I eat cherry ice cream usually it is layers of sweetness.  This cherry gelato had sweetness plus tart bits.  Delicious mix of flavors.
Bacche was a blend of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.  Bacche had some sweetness and some tartness.  Fruity and forest fresh.

I also purchased a quart for $20 with 3 flavors.
The flavor of the month was lemon bar gelato which was a mix the rich and creamy base which provided a tasty sweetness while the lemon flavor gave it a contrasting sour flavor.  I enjoyed the mix of flavors with an emphasis on the sweet.
Mango was full of vibrant mango flavor.  One of my favorite flavors.
Vanilla was rich, creamy, with a vibrant vanilla flavor.

I like to take photos of beautiful things like rain falling into puddles. Photos were mostly taken on a Fuji XE-2. Starting 9.9.2016 most photos are taken on a Fuji XT-2. Subsequent photos were taken with an Iphone 13 Pro and an Iphone 15 Pro Max.
