This has become one of my favorite stops on our road trips back and forth to Arizona.
The turkey, potato salad, cream corn and my choice of soda produces a happy place in my heart during and after eating. The tender turkey has a seasoning that is quite delicious, hickory or perhaps cinnamon. Hard to say but I love it. The potato salad has mustard and well cooked flavorful potatoes. The scrumptious cream corn is actually creamy!
Usually my problem with potato salad is either the potatoes are not cooked properly or there is just too much mayonnaise in it. So it’s not often I find one that I like.
For cream corn well this is the first place I’ve found that does it right. Making it creamy and not runny or watery.
As for turkey well the usual problem is dryness and not much flavor. They definitely know their way around a turkey here.
