Ezekiel’s Restaurant
There is talk Ezekial’s has the best fried chicken in Arizona. I had to taste it for myself.
Hot. Crunchy batter. Juicy tender chicken. Flavor was mild. A little like Church’s. Great tasting chicken.
Fried catfish was battered in cornmeal. Texture was crunchy. This dish was very light in flavor.
Pork ribs were covered in a sweet sauce which had a bit of spice. Ribs were mostly tender except for a few burnt parts at the edges. Pretty good.
The owner Brad was very friendly and engaged in lengthy conversation with customers that showed up before me. I loved the fried chicken but I’d have to try some more fried chicken spots in town before I could confirm or deny it’s the best.
