Liberty Market has many eateries to try out. I usually go to Latin Chef but they were not open yet so I visited Cane Patch Kitchen.
I tried the catfish basket. Big fat steak fries had a little crispness on the outside while the inside was moist and full of potato flavor. Looks like same type of fries at Red Robin except those are cooked less so they aren’t as crunchy but they aren’t dried out as Red Robin fries. Nice fluffy potato flavor. Catfish was tender inside, was moist and had a fresh flavor. Batter had a little crunch to it and was heavily seasoned. I would have preferred the traditional corn meal batter. The cajun style batter had stronger flavored seasoning than I like.
Took about 10 minutes to fry my order and the guy at the counter was nice.
