Tim Ho Wan
The story of Tim Ho Wan begins in 2009 when Chef Mak Kwai-Pui and Chef Leung Fai Keung opened their first restaurant in Mongkok, Hong Kong. Tim Ho Wan earned it’s first Michelin star in 2010. In 2015 3 more branches each earned a Michelin star. Tim Ho Wan was then known as “the world’s cheapest Michelin-star restaurant.” My friend Micheal at work suggested I visit as Tim Ho Wan had just opened a branch at the Palms Hotel I was staying at.
