It was raining outside. Inside it was warm and the scent of shawarma filled the air.
I could see shawarma cooking behind the counter.
They were also making fresh pita.
I ordered the steak shwarma in a pita and a side of fries. Pita had a nice mild flavor. Steak was tender with a mild marinated flavor. There were various sauces you could add to enhance the flavor. I enjoyed my pita with just lettuce, tomato, and steak.
Fries were crispy with a delicious potato flavor. Better tasting than your normal fast food fry.
Mini fridge had a variety of bottled drinks while the soda fountain had a selection of Stubborn soda.
I chose the Stubborn root beer.
Sweet with that unique root beer flavor.
Employees were friendly and helpful. Thanks Brad and Tahini for the great Yelp Elite Week event. It’s awesome there are so many places to get shawarma in San Diego. Next time I’ll have to give the chicken shawarma a try.

The fresh baked pita is delicious all by itself! Next visit I think I’ll try their Tahini fries.
