It began in 1945. Over the years flavors have been added till now there are over 100 that are rotated. So many to choose from. I picked 2.
Orange Dream Cream was a delicious mix of orange sorbet and vanilla. Dreyer’s has a version but the flavor isn’t quite right. This is one of the best I’ve tasted. I love the balance between the orange and vanilla.
Cherry Vanilla had an excellent ratio of cherries to ice cream. Other companies tend to cheap out on the cherries. Flavor was mostly cherry with vanilla ice cream to keep it from being too sweet.
I look forward to coming here whenever I visit Palos Verdes. Ice cream is rich, fresh, and full of flavor. Reminds me of Niederfrank’s in National City.
