Market on 8th is pretty popular. I showed up a quarter to 11am and the closest parking spot was a block away. I visited a bunch of times when this food hall opened up. All those places are gone now. I took a look around at the shiny new businesses.
Luna’s Lunpias
I showed up around 11:30am. That’s not a good time as the lechon kawali isn’t available till around 2pm.
Ackee Tree The Real Jamaican Cuisine
I love eating oxtail. Right now Havana Grill and Flavors of East Africa are my favorite places to get oxtails. I noticed Ackee Tree had oxtails and gave them a try.
Mom Kitchen
I noticed there was a new Hong Kong style place in Mira Mesa and went to give them a try. I remember coming to this mall alot when I had a paper route. Black Mountain Bicycles was here and I went for repairs and bought a few Nishiki bikes from them.

Approaching the building entrance, one would never guess just how enormous the inside is.
