I ate at a bunch of fast food places that looked a bit like Burger Lounge when I was a kid. There have been improvements though. Instead of hard plastic they have cushioned bottoms and cushioned back support at each booth. Instead of those bland hockey pucks they have grass fed beef patties. They also have limited time only exotic meat burgers.
This visit I tried the lamb burger which they just started making. Mine came with watercress, tomato, bacon, cilantro, and bbq sauce. Watercress nicely balanced the tangy bbq sauce and the tart tomato. Lamb was seasoned with a bit of salt and had a delicious lamb flavor. Bacon gave the burger an added savory flavor. I loved the well balanced flavors in this lamb burger.
Last time I had a beef burger with bacon. Beef was seasoned with a bit of salt and had a nice beef flavor enhanced by the savory bacon. Toasted bun along with the lettuce and tomato made for a burger with delicious flavor.
Fries were crunchy and I liked the fried potato flavor.
Service was excellent. The employees here are very nice. Back in the day I only liked the french fries and the chicken nuggets were ok at the fast food places I tried. There is a lot more to like here. I’m looking forward to when they bring back the limited time only elk and the wild boar burger. 🙂
