Sunmerry Bakery
When I moved to Mira Mesa there was a Firestone here. Not many places to eat. Now the Firestone is gone and there are lots of places to eat. Sunmerry Bakery bakery recently opened and they were offering a 10% discount.
There were lots of options to choose from. I tried some of their treats.
Sunmerry Concha had a sugary top and fluffy buttery bread. Loved the flavor. I prefer the flavor of this buttery concha vs the concha’s I normally get which are made with just wheat flour. Also the Sunmerry Concha is moister and smoother so it goes down easier.
Almond croissant had a sweet buttery flavor plus some almond flavor from the almond slices. Loved how fluffy the croissant was.
Walnut concha had fluffy buttery bread and tons of walnut pieces. This concha was bursting with walnut flavor.
Strawberry cream cake was fluffy with fresh strawberries and strawberry glaze giving the cake lots of strawberry flavor. I loved the cake part that was light and had a sweet vanilla flavor.
Staff was nice and kept the line moving. I like the flavors here a bit better than 85C.

I like to take photos of beautiful things like rain falling into puddles. Photos were mostly taken on a Fuji XE-2. Starting 9.9.2016 most photos are taken on a Fuji XT-2. Subsequent photos were taken with an Iphone 13 Pro and an Iphone 15 Pro Max.

I think I’d like the fluffy strawberry cake, will add to my list for when I’m in the area (usually involves Hawaiian Fresh Seafood one way or another!).

If you like 85C I think you would love Sunmerry Bakery. There are lots more items I want to try.
