This mall is so new that not all the shops have opened yet. I noticed Wise Ox is almost finished. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream is shiny and modern.
There are many unique flavors here.
Fresh waffle cone aroma filled the air.
Waffle cone was freshly made with a nice aroma and crunchy. I liked the mild sweet flavor.
This is the only place I’ve seen pineapple upside down cake ice cream. There is alot going on in this ice cream. Pineapples give some tartness. Cherries, cake, and caramel swirls give different sweet flavors. I like this flavor but I would have preferred the sweet flavor from Hawaiian Tropical Gold pineapples.
Honey Vanilla Bean was a mix of vanilla bean and sweet honey flavors.
Wildberry Lavender was very fruity with a bold lavender flavor.
Boylan Lemon Seltzer was very bubbly with a nice lemon flavor. Pretty good lemon seltzer.
Jen’s ice creams were rich and creamy. Many creative flavors. Staff was cheerful and friendly. Thanks for inviting us to try a waffle cone full of ice cream Jeni’s and Yelp.

That’s a lot of variety and flavors are creative. I’ve had Jeni’s when traveling and it is quite the ultra-luxe type of ice cream. I never thought I’d see health-conscious San Diego on its radar but I guess after getting our very own outposts of Salt & Straw it would be natural for other similar places to follow.
That’s great we are getting more food options. I liked sampling flavors I’ve never seen before.
