Dragon Sushi / 82451 Highway 111 Indio, CA 92201

Looks like some things are getting back to normal. Our every 4 to 6 week trip to the desert for necessary doctor appointment is back on. No more telephone appointments. It was nice to see him in person after such a long time!

Anyway, we like to find a place to eat afterwards and our usual favorite spot was closed. I hope they open again soon.

My daughter found Dragon Sushi while doing an internet search. So off we went in the 107 degree heat in search of lunch.

We were greeted promptly and sat in a comfy booth. After a little confusion over the menu and how to order, we found our waitress. The menu is touch free, all you gotta do is start to take a picture of the bar code, then the link pops up. Click the link and the menu appears.

I ordered the Dinner special two item combo, since we were a bit too late for the lunch special. My dish came with; miso soup, house salad, steamed rice, gyoza dumpling, shumai dumpling, teriyaki chicken and California roll. Daughter ordered the crunchy California roll.

Everything was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the salad dressing and the teriyaki sauce covering the chicken. I look forward to our next visit. The mango tango cut roll is calling my name.

I use a combination of my iPhone and my Fujifilm X-E2 camera for all my photographs. Just depends on where I am as to which one I'll use to take my pictures with. I love to write original stories combined with my photographs. If you'd like to send me a message or comment, please do so at; maggie@hungryones.com We just celebrated our 14th Anniversary this October 2016!! So exciting!! 2015 A couple since 2003 and now on the precipice of this new journey, our fondest hope is this website serves a purpose. One of useful information presented in an elegant, beautiful photographic setting. Together we love to discover new restaurants, food trucks, diners, café’s, huts or where ever we find food being served. The love of artful, carefully crafted, passionately orchestrated food, beverages and let’s not forget desert, Is something we both enjoy immensely. Immersing ourselves in the history, culture and surrounding locations of our adventures hopefully leads to not only meeting new people, but making new friends, sharing ideas, listening to stories and learning something new everyday.
