Salt & Straw – One Paseo

When I was a kid Sue Bee made the most delicious honey I had ever tasted.  Orange blossom honey had that honey sweetness with hints of orange blossom.  I have never tasted such a delicious orange flavor till now.

Salt and Straw has a limited edition flavor.

Orange blossom sorbet with edible flowers.  In addition to the delicious orange blossom flavor there are also some subtle flavors from the flowers.  I loved the icy texture and the refreshing orange scent.  I picked up 2 pints.  I was tempted to buy more but I’m going on an ice cream run to San Francisco next month and I need to empty out my freezer.

I love how they rotate in new flavors every month.  I don’t like how Orange Blossom sorbet is only available for 2 more weeks.  Salt and Straw is pretty popular.  There is a line out the door when I visited Sunday afternoon.
The friendly employees keep the line moving fairly quickly and you can skip the scoop line if you just buy pints.

I like to take photos of beautiful things like rain falling into puddles. Photos were mostly taken on a Fuji XE-2. Starting 9.9.2016 most photos are taken on a Fuji XT-2. Subsequent photos were taken with an Iphone 13 Pro and an Iphone 15 Pro Max.

  1. The flowers look pretty in the sorbet. Hopefully they will have the orange blossom available again soon.

  2. If you like butterfinger, you must try their peanut butter stout with chocolate chicharron !! It sounds weird but it’s my fave flavor there.
