114 West Audubon Drive. Fresno, California 93720

This was my first visit here so I was unsure as what to expect. There is plenty of parking out front and as you walk in (at the time of our visit) they were in the middle of re-doing the front entrance area.
It’s immediately apparent how comfortable the wildlife (geese, ducks, peacocks and koi) is here. They are seemingly unafraid of people and wander around as such.
I probably could have gotten much closer while taking my pictures, but I kept a respectful distance.
The Clark bonsai collection was visually stunning. My favorite bonsai looked like a mini forest. All it needed was miniature animals and people wandering around. The friendly curator on duty was very informative about this collection.
I enjoyed watching the koi while perched against the fence. So pretty and curious about people. While gazing at the koi, a proud mama goose approached with her baby in tow. As if to say; ‘Hey look at my baby! Isn’t she just fabulous?’
The male peacock put on a show trying in vain to impress the females nearby. He did a wonderful job of impressing the humans! Meanwhile said female peacocks seem to be unfazed by the male getting all of the attention.
Such a peaceful, beautiful, visually appealing place to hang out and just enjoy the day.
They offer numerous types of tours, classes, workshops and special programs.

You got great photos of the garden. It was a great place to spend the afternoon.
It would be nice to revisit next time we are in the area.
