J. Sweets

I was excited to visit J. Sweets inside Mitsuwa for a Yelp Elite event as I love dessert. The very friendly staff gave each person a tour of the shop and told us about the various treats.

We were given a cool gift bag with cream buns which are made fresh daily and Royce chocolate.

Azuki beans cream bun was fluffy and soft with Azuki bean center.

Pastry part had a light, sweet flavor while the Azuki beans had a tasty flavor a bit like red bean paste. My favorite cream bun.

Chocolate cream bun was fluffy pastry goodness with a center full of chocolate cream that was bursting with chocolate flavor. Awesome for chocolate lovers.

Macha cream bun was fluffy and soft while the center had texture like whipped cream. Lots of green tea flavor accentuated by the mild sweet flavor from the pastry.

Custard cream bun was soft and fluffy with tons of creamy custard in the center. Very sweet.

Royce Sakura Fromage chocolate had jelly like texture and full of cherry and strawberry flavor. The unboxing was almost as fun as unboxing a new Iphone with the impressive packaging.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. J. Sweets was very generous with the free treats and I was impressed by all the decadent desserts. Thanks to Hannah for the awesome Yelp event.

I also purchased some mochi.
