Caesar salad

For my birthday celebration this year (in August) I ordered Chicago style pizza with all the sides for delivery. I’m in love with their pizza so this was the perfect meal for me.

For the whole pie you can make it half and half which is what we did. Half spinach, mushroom & sausage and half meat lover’s. For the sides; caesar salad, garlic knots and lemon glazed Zeppole.

The pizza pie was perfect as usual. Caesar salad had huge very yummy croutons. For some reason the garlic knots were a little tough & chewy, after a few days in the refrigerator they were easier to chew. I was looking forward to the Zeppole as I’ve not tried it before. The dough was similar to the garlic knots and had a nice lemon flavor. I’m not sure if I’d get them again, just expected a fried doughnut to melt in your mouth, these did not.

Since the pizza was so huge we had leftovers for almost a week! Very nice indeed. Perhaps next order I’ll try the tiramisu for dessert.

Some other dishes that sound amazing are; the bacon mac, crispy Brussels sprouts, chicken parmesan roll and Regents signature New York style pizza.

  1. Maggie, I need this pizza in my life! Looks great thanks for sharing! I’ll bookmark it for our next trip and hopefully we can enjoy a pie together!

  2. The deep dish pizza is super filling! I could barely eat a quarter of the second slice! I would get a slice for lunch if it were a tiny bit closer!
