Manila Fast Food and Desserts

Skin crunches loudly in my mouth.  Fat rendered into liquid form gushes over skin as I bite down.  Tender fried pork bursting flavor throughout my mouth.  Flavors and the various textures delight my senses.  I grew up with Chinese style roasted pork but lechon kawali is an amazing example of how frying makes things taste better.

Pancit had a smooth, slick texture and a delicious mix of flavors from the chicken, cabbage, and seasonings.

Bbq pork was tender and had a sweet lightly char’d flavor.

Pork belly had a sour flavor.  I was hoping for a savory bacon flavor.  I wouldn’t get this again.

This is one of my fav places to get food like they have in Manilla.  It’s not fancy here but I’ve found the food to be fresh + full of delicious flavor.  Staff have been nice and provide speedy service.  Back in high school I use to bike by this little mall alot as a friend lived on this block.  Wish this place was here back then.  Wouldn’t have had to eat at Jack In the Box or McDonald’s.
