R & B Filipino Cuisine

Some mornings I wake up and want to taste the unique blend of crispy/crunchy fried pork skin, fat, and tender pork they call lechon kawali.

Before 10am R & B Filipino Cuisine is the only place open that has it.  The strip mall is quiet.  This early the donut shop next door is the only business with customers.

Inside it looks like R & B Filipino Cuisine has new chairs and tables.

At the back are the warming trays where you pick what you want like Panda Express.   I always order the 2 item combo.

Pork lumpia has a thin crunchy wrapper with pork and veggie filling.  Quite tasty.

Pancit had a nice assortment of veggies and little bits of meat.  I liked the mix of flavors from the rice noodles, meat, and veggies.
Lechon Kawali is a mix of crunchy skin, fat, and pork meat.  All three combine into a delicious mix of flavor and texture.  My cravings are satisfied.

Another visit.
Bbq pork skewers had a slight sweetness and lots of savory flavor.

Mango cake was fluffy and had a sweet mango flavor.

Staff was friendly and they give you lots of food here.

Prices haven’t gone up too much since 2014.  One of the cool things about this old strip mall is there is lots of parking.

The old Glacier water machine still only charges 25 cents/gallon.  They have raised the price of all the other ones I’ve seen.  That’s good some things haven’t changed.  Cathy + Kirk of mmm-yoso have visited too.  As has Faye of Faye’s Fork.
