There are numerous activities at this place! I was surprised to find out they have two museum’s, replica of Boomtown 1905 town and extensive trails to explore by foot, bicycle or train.

Cool place to sit near the entrance

I really just wanted to check out the botanical garden. Ended up visiting twice while I was in town. A really nice way to spend your day. https://www.springspreserve.org/explore/botanical-garden.html

They were all set for their Halloween parties when I visited in October and everywhere I went they had some sort of decoration up for the event including tables and gazebos. A few blocked the trails.

The birds put on quite a show in the Palm Garden. I sat down on a bench next to the trees and enjoyed watching the birds feeding on berries. They were a bit shy at first, not really used to people around. But seemed to accept me after awhile and resumed eating.

Can you find the birds?

The rose garden had a few blooms I was happy to see. In the springtime I imagine the blooms are abundant.

Cactus Alley was my favorite garden as the variety of cacti and succulents are impressive.

I get the impression that October is not a busy time for the botanical garden. Only saw about 5 to 10 people the whole time I was there. Perhaps everyone prefers to come at night for the Halloween festivities.
