Northern Cafe
The people here are incredibly hard working and nice. I was looking for a place that was open on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Both times Northern Cafe was open and cranking out orders.
Won ton soup featured shrimp won tons.
Loved the mix of flavors from the won ton wrapper, shrimp, and soup. Bok choy was fresh and had sweet bok choy flavor. My favorite menu item so far.
Potstickers had a nice char on the wrapper.
Pork filling was bursting with flavor.
I also sampled the chicken chow mein. I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce and the chicken but the chicken to noodle ratio was low.
Northern Cafe makes some great tasting food. Wish they had inside dining when we visited. It’s tricky eating won ton soup in the car. Thanks for being open when we needed a meal.
Maybe Christmas, the Grinch thought, doesn’t come from a store.

I like to take photos of beautiful things like rain falling into puddles. Photos were mostly taken on a Fuji XE-2. Starting 9.9.2016 most photos are taken on a Fuji XT-2. Subsequent photos were taken with an Iphone 13 Pro and an Iphone 15 Pro Max.

I’m often guilty of enjoying a bunch of sides and forgetting a main entree. Dumplings are the best!
