Would have loved to stay longer or come back a second day during our visit. So much to do with such little time.
The butterfly exhibit was open on our second visit in March. Too many butterflies to count! They flocked around the misters, landed on the flowers, foliage, people and netting. If you stay still enough they will come visit, perhaps on your shoulder or hat.
A lovely place to stop and enjoy the scenery along highway 79. I never get tired of strolling amoung the sculptures imagining what would happen if suddenly they became alive. And of course what would they look like in my front yard?
Soft, smooth, squishy, and warm is what I feel beneath this blanket. I don’t use the heater at home. I rely on my low-E dual pane windows to keep my place warm in the winter. Sometimes bundling up in sweatpants and a hoodie isn’t enough and I’m left cold.

Teams of horses participate in the Rose Parade each year. I never get tired of their stunning beauty, elaborate costumes and excellent horsemanship showcased by each rider. Bummer you can’t visit them too after the parade, just like the floats.
